Therese Brisson: Hockey

Thérèse Brisson, a champion women's ice hocky player was born on October 5, 1966 in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec. Brisson has played for the Canadian National women's ice hockey team since 1993. She was the second oldest member of Team Canada’s gold medal winning team at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City and competed for Canada at the World Championships in 1994, 1997, 1999, 2000 and 2001 earning a silver medal at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, Japan, which marked the first time that women’s hockey was played on an Olympic level.
